Judgment of the Jewish council in the case between the Jews of Lviv and Noson Abrahamowicz
Crown elders at the Council of the Four Lands in Jarosław recognized the grievances of the elders of both Lviv communities against Noson Abrahamowicz, a former Lviv Jew residing in Zhovkva, who pledged to live in Lviv and pay all his duties there. After honoring the oath confirming the validity of the claims by
two Lviv elders, they obtained the right to pursue their claims against Noson, his heirs, or the Zhovkva elders and the local burial society. The Crown elders forbade the burial of Noson until his obligations were paid.
